The above fellow is the Salvage Boss/Captain of the crew. You may recognize him from my avatar. He's a Rebel from Bob Naismith's Cobalt line.

The above mini is a dynamite war droid from the Star Mogul line of miniatures.

The "Walrus" is also a Star Mogul mini. As my friend Rico always says, there needs to be more portly miniatures! Walrus is a great one!

Star Mogul salvager.

Dirty Chin is the crew's close combat expert. He's from the discontinued China Town line of miniatures.

This guy's a Kallistra ganger. He fits nicely with the salvage crew theme.

Nice Minis!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't mind hearing a battle report and a bit more on the sci fi skirmish rules. I'm currently shopping around for a rules set to use for my 15mm Sci Fi's.
They aren't formalized yet. They're a D10-based system. Joe still has to digitize them--we were playing from his scribbled notebook version!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried Fast and Dirty? A very cool sci-fi system, but geared more for larger battles.

I haven't tried Fast & Dirty, will give it a gander. Although I'm looking for smaller scale battles at this point.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info!
I am waiting with great anticipation for AE-Bounty from Darkson Designs. It's due out in October. It's a true skirmish sci-fi game.
ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the salvage crew! Ive just started work on my own salvage company for star mogul and youve provided me with some rather good inspiration!
All the best!
The feeling is mutual! Seeing your stuff on LAF has given me some ideas. I am going to use that Chainmail gnome for AE Bounty. Just based him last night and primed him this morning.
