Shadowrun: Indian Gun Adept

I took a Heroclix Deadshot (alternate costume) and did another head swap with an OG Pathan head, and came up with a great Indian Gun Adept for Shadowrun.

Gun Adepts channel magic into a fiendish efficiency with firearms.

This guy certainly fits!

Shadowrun: Mr. Prem K. Sharma

Prem K. Sharma is an excellent character from the Over the Edge RPG and On the Edge CCG from Atlas Games (see the links on the left).

I dig him so much I decided to convert a miniature for him an introduce him into my SR campaign.  He'll be a prominent Mumbai businessman, but is he really much more than that?  Time will tell!

Conversion courtesy of a Johnny Sorrow Heorclix figure and another OG Pathan head.

Shadowrun: A Sci-Fi Indian

For the Shadows of Mumbai SR campaign, I've decided to convert a few Indians for the setting. Now you can be sure I'll be putting my Rezolution Sci-Fi Indian conversions to use in the game at some point, but I wanted a few more.

I have the good fortune of having gotten some Old Glory Afghan tribesman heads a while back.  These heads were masters used in the production of the OG Pathan Tribesmen range. They make great conversion fodder if you've got sci-fi models laying around.  A quick stroke of the jeweler's saw, and a bit of green stuff, and the conversion is complete!

Check out this China Town figure I did my first conversion on:

He'll make an ideal thug or bodyguard for SR or any near-future game.

OG Pathan Swordsman

I painted a lot of Space Marines for a customer this week, so I did not have a lot of time for stuff for myself, but I did knock out this great Old Glory Pathan tribesman!

He'll work for Victorian RPG's and skirmish games, Strange Aeons, and even a fantasy RPG or minis game with an exotic setting. I've long maintained that OG's Pathans comprise their strongest line of 25/28mm historical figures. This guy will also go well with other Pathans I've done in the past.

Thanks for visiting!

Off the Shelf: Old Glory Pathan Tribesmen

Ask me what I think the best Old Glory 25mm/28mm historical range is and I will tell you, without hesitation, the Northwest Frontier bags. Among them, the Pathan (Afghan) Tribesmen bags deliver superb quality for a great value.

About 18 months ago I painted a selection of OG Pathans for some NW Frontier gaming and I've busted them out to show off.

Couple these wonderful models with excellent British and Sikh figures and you can run some rip-roaring battles at a nice price. These figures also scale well with Wargames Foundry's NW Frontier ranges.
