I needed to break the ice on my Khador Warjacks, and I have in a big way--the Decimator. This 9 pt. Heavy Warjack packs ranged punch and a deadly Rip Saw for close-in work.
On the brassy metallic I mixed Vallejo Brass with a bit of GW Calthan Brown to mute it. This about a 60/40 mix of brass to brown. I then went back after it was dry and stippled in a darker brown from one of my Reaper triads (African Flesh tone, I believe). The silver metallic is just Vallejo Genmetal with some Badab Black Wash on top. Nothing fancy there.
And here's a shot of the big "D" with The Butcher and a Man-O-War:

Fantastic work. The color looks great as a unit
ReplyDeleteVery very nice work :)
ReplyDeleteCurious though, why did you pick to field the Butcher?
Thanks, guys! I picked the Butcher for two reasons:
Delete1. I love the model
2. I love his rules--simple Feat, straight forward, benefits 'Jacks and infantry, and possessing spells that complement 'Jacks
He also fits very well with Man-O-War infantry, and I love those models.
