Anyway, here they are!
Now certain "friends" of mine are trying to goad me into expanding this unit when I make my larger Skaven army. I should note that none of these individuals have offered to a.) buy me the extra boxes of Rat Ogres, or b.) help me assemble and paint them. Oh well, they are a well intentioned lot. Still, I could see adding a third rank... I am a Moulder Warlord after all!
Anyway, I also have plans for that unit of 60 giant rats, so more on that when progress warrants a report.

I just realized last night that the 1500 point army I've been building is all metal, very old school eh?

ReplyDeleteI've become a bit of a plastic snob when it comes to GW these days. If it's not in plastic, I turn my nose up to it. Weird. Plenty of other stuff I do is metal. Plastic is just so much easier to work with, and it does not chip, and generally doesn't break when dropped from a four foot table edge.

ReplyDeleteI have always liked the rat-ogres. Your mention of a "mad scientist" feel has sold me on the idea. You see, there is a mad biologist living on Venus, and he experimetns on plants, animals and men, combining them using means so horrible I dare not say.
